Do I need a finished design?
You do not need a finished design to talk to us about your tattoo. Tell us what you have in mind. It might be a subject, some lettering or an addition to a tattoo you already have.
Not sure whether to choose colour or black and grey? Wondering if your idea suits the placement? Bring those questions with you. Before you visit, jot down what matters to you and anything you do not want.
Which images should I bring to a tattoo consultation?
Bring a few pictures and show us what you like about them. You might like the fine lines in one photo and the colours in another. That tells us more than a large collection where we have to guess what caught your eye.
Your own sketch helps too. You do not need to be good at drawing. It just needs to show roughly how you imagine your design.
Placement and size: what should I know?
If you have a placement in mind, tell us where. Think about the size too. A rough measurement in centimetres tells us more than “small” or “large”. We can discuss the exact size when you visit.
Do you have other tattoos nearby? Are you thinking of adding more later? Show us the area and tell us about your plans so we can take them into account when discussing your idea.
What matters when asking about a cover-up?
Come to the studio and show us the tattoo you want to change. Bring pictures of designs you like, and let us know whether you would consider a larger tattoo.
We need to see the existing tattoo to discuss whether your idea could work as a cover-up. If you send a photo before visiting, take it in good light without a filter. Come in so we can talk it through in person.
When can I ask about the price?
Ask about the price at your first consultation. If you have a budget, let us know. Your idea, preferred placement and approximate size give us something concrete to discuss.
You can find our hourly rates and minimum charge through the link below. An hourly rate alone does not tell you the total cost of your tattoo. Larger projects and sleeves require a deposit, which is deducted from the final price. We will discuss the amount with you at the studio.

Whether we can tattoo you that day depends on your idea and the time available. We will discuss that when you visit. Coming in for a consultation does not guarantee a same-day tattoo appointment.
