Faces, animal subjects and strong contrasts

Many of Veso’s pieces centre on a clearly recognisable face. The gallery includes lions, owls, wolves and human portraits. Small pale areas around eyes, fur or metal stand out against larger dark shapes. Some subjects work as individual pieces; others belong to a longer composition along an arm.

Colour plays different roles across his portfolio. The owl has striking orange eyes, while other pieces use a red background or small blue details. Fully black and grey tattoos sit alongside them. Open the photographs to compare how a composition looks with and without colour.

Planning a portrait or a larger tattoo

A clear reference photograph helps when discussing a portrait. For an animal tattoo, you can show us several views and explain which expression matters to you. If you are thinking about a sleeve, bring photographs of any tattoos already on that arm.

Does Veso only work in black and grey?

No. His portfolio includes both black and grey and colour work, including portraits with red accents, an owl with orange eyes and other coloured designs.

Can I bring several ideas for one arm?

Yes, bring your ideas and pictures with you. Show us any existing tattoos on that arm as well. We can discuss how new and existing designs might fit together at the studio.
